Why I chose to practice in Grand Rapids...

I chose to practice in Grand Rapids due to the city’s reputation as a growing health care tertiary referral center. There are many of the conveniences of a larger city without the downsides of crime and traffic. It is a great place to raise a family and there are endless outdoor activities.

Why I chose to practice in Grand Rapids...

I grew up in Grand Rapids and my family is here. Additionally, Helen DeVos Children's Hospital represents a fantastic opportunity to provide neurosurgical care to the entirety of West Michigan and beyond. Healthcare is a major initiative in this city and the budding partnership with Michigan State makes this a particularly suitable place to establish a practice.
