Why I chose to practice in Grand Rapids...
There is a great history of medical education in Grand Rapids, and the medical community fosters an environment of learning in a non-confrontational manner. In Plastic Surgery specifically, there is a rich history of leaders in the field who have trained in Grand Rapids, thus fostering a culture of learning and excellence. In addition Grand Rapids is a great place to raise a family, is very safe, with very good public schools and a wealth of activities available.
