Program Overview

The Grand Rapids/Michigan State University Surgical Critical Care Fellowship offers a one year Surgical Critical Care Fellowship – August 1 through July 30. The physicians that enter this ACGME accredited fellowship spend a majority of their year in the 36 bed Surgical Critical Care Unit at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Under the direction of a faculty of 9 critical care surgeons, each fellow has the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills required to become proficient in the area of critical care medicine.
